I ran out to Joshua Tree National Park to see if I could get clear enough skys on the night of National Astronomy Day. First I took a few shots at Arch Rock, I tried to get more details in the foreground because it is such an amazing spot, and most of the shots I see out on the internet just don’t give the feel of detail it deserves. After the Arch was Balanced Rock with Juniper tree, i could believe i had the whole hill to myself until sunrise, Jumbo Rocks Campground was full and everyone was snoring.
